Remember how after I got my period back I started to freak out because my cycles were short? Like super consistent and short? Well maybe they were all mostly annovulatory because now they have shifted to 30 days. Bang on consistent still. But 30 days. I don’t really know what it all means. I WANT to hope that it means even though I’ve had my period back for 12 months maybe only the last 5 were actual cycles. I want to think that because then maybe I haven’t lost out on a year of trying without luck.
No matter the reason, the first 7 months of 25 day cycles didn’t yield a pregnancy, and neither have the last 5 months of 30 day cycles. So far we are still scoring a perfect goose egg on our trying naturally. Even the few months that we tried harder, had more sex at the right time, and not just simply pulling the goalie.
I guess at any rate having a more ‘normal’ cycle length should allow me to breathe a bit of a sigh of relief. It turns out I’m not Peri-menopausal, yet.
So, I guess that’s something.
