Hey Lovelies,
I am so pissed. Know how in my last post I talked about having to go into my GP’s office in order to secure another referral to the infertility clinic I’m already a patient of? Well, apparently it never happened. I mean I KNOW that I took my child to a freaking germ infested dr.’s office unnecessarily so that I could see the dr. I KNOW that I sat through an annoyingly patronizing conversation about why I needed the referral in the first place. I KNOW I did these things, but it doesn’t matter, she never sent in that referral. And the only way I found out was because I got a little antsy about not having been called for 3 weeks (actually pretty normal amount of time). But I was antsy anyways and so I contacted my RE. Good thing too..
No. Referral.
And that’s not the best part. I have been waiting 4 days for the blunder to be resolved and for my dr. to finally send it. Yup. 4 days of me calling and reminding them that they still haven’t sent it. 4 days of the receptionist assuring me that she has put a request into the dr. and will call me as soon as she deals with the request. 4 days of me not getting a call back and then the next morning starting the process again. 4 days… and counting.
*string of expletives*

So unprofessional of your doctor’s office! You’ve been to the clinic before; it should not be a big deal to get a referral!

Urgh, for God’s sake! It’s not like them sending a referral is such a big deal.

The do it weekly in theory for a hundred patients. but no… this time they fuck up and are being ridiculous about re-sending! Well, now they have, but it took a week! And I called daily.
